Star's SP212
is the tear bar version of the SP200 series of low cost dot matrix receipt printers. The Star SP200 series is an older model but still works well. The SP200 series was replaced by the SP500 series, but is still available because the 500 is not a drop in replacement.
The SP200 series is recommended for older systems that specify 200 series printers. The SP200 also comes with Star's 3 year warranty and comes in off-white color.
The SP212 is equipped with a tear bar. If you require an auto cutter the SP242 is the model for you.
