The Star TSP847 is an Ultra high speed direct thermal printer.. This printer is fully packed with features and performance that is unmatched in a receipt and specialty printer.

Star Micronics has a dual solution to print thermal prescriptions using its TSP800 thermal printer. The TSP800 printer enables doctors to print thermal prescriptions vs. handwritten prescriptions from a pad avoiding legibility errors. Utilizing specialized and secured thermal prescription paper, the prescriptions are printed using the latest medical technology software on the market, resulting in a secured legible script in seconds.

For pharmacies, the TSP800 is ideal for printing electronically received prescriptions at the pharmacy counter. The pharmacy provides a printed record of the electronic prescription in the exact format a handwritten prescription would be personally received. The TSP800 is certified for prescription printing in many states. Check with the Enforcement Bureau Drug Control Unit of your state for more information.

The TSP800 handles the standard 112 mm (4.4")wide direct thermal media, but also has the optional ability to handle 82.5 mm/80 mm/58 mm paper.

The Star's TSP847RX Receipt Printer is comaptible with Dr Notes Software.
